El viernes, 10 de Junio, el Colegio Humanitas Bilingual Scholl de Torrejón de Ardoz, recibió, en la sede del Parlamento Europeo en Madrid , el reconocimiento como Escuela Embajadora del Parlamento Europeo. Proyecto que han realizado los alumnos de 4º de ESO.

Ode to joy a symbol of Europe

Ode to joy is the melody chosen by the Council of Europe as the European anthem. This anthem does not aim to replace the national anthems of the EU countries but simbolizes the idea of solidarity, feeling of brotherhood, agreements and freedom that Europeans share.
Ode to joy comes from the 9th symphony composed by the talented composer and musician Ludwig Van Bethoven in the 18th Century.
In 1970 the Spanish singer Miguel Rios added lyrics to this  melody and created a Spanish version of the anthem.
